Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Buick LaCrosse we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Class 2 trailer hitch receiver, part number 36538. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. First thing you'll notice about our hitch is that it's an ideal hitch to use for bike racks and cargo carriers. We have plenty of clearance around our fascia right here. On the side of our receiver right here around the opening, you'll find a nice welded collar to help reinforce it, give it some added strength, and a more finished look. On the side of our receiver here you'll find our industry-standard 1/2" diameter hitch pin hole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Buick Lacrosse, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Draw-Tite custom fit class two trailer hitch receiver, offering the inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. Its part number is 36538. Now, here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on our Lacrosse. As you can see, we've got our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. It goes into the connection plate, and you might, if you we're down low enough, see just a little bit of that cross tube there in the back.Also, you're going to notice your safety chain connection plate that comes back. They finished off the end of the receiver tube opening with a little reinforcement collar here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Buick LaCrosse - Hidden Hitch- Video

Today on our 2015 Buick LaCrosse, we will be taking a look at and installing the hidden hitch, custom fit, class II trailer hitch receiver with draw bar, part number 90242. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. It's going to be nice and sleek, tucked up against the back side of the bumper. It's going to be that square tube, that's going to have a nice visual appearance and aesthetically pleasing from the back end of your vehicle. It's going to be fully welded on either of the two plates. Note that this does have a few plates that you will have to put together. You'll have one connected to the cross member in the back side and then the other plate here is going to be connected up top. more

Today on our 2015 Buick LaCrosse, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite custom fit Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 36538. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. It's going to be nice and sleek, tucked up against the back side of the bumper. It's going to be that square tube. That's going to have a nice visual appearance and aesthetically pleasing from the back end of your vehicle. It's going to be fully welded on either of the two plates. Not that this does have a few plates that you'll have to put together. You'll have one connected to the crossmember in the back side and then the other plate here is going to be connected up top, with the crossbeam connecting them both together. It's going to have four bolts located up here at the front, that's going to keep everything secured together. The receiver tube itself is going to be 1 1/4 inch x 1 1/4 inch with a 1/2 inch pin hole going all the way through. Capable of carrying up to 300 pounds, tongue weight, and carrying up to 3500 pounds, towing capacity. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Buick Lacrosse - Curt- Video

Today on our 2015 Buick LaCrosse, we'll be reviewing and installing the Curt class 2 trailer hitch receiver, part number C12115. This is what you're hitch will look like once it's installed. It's going to be tucked up underneath the backside of the bumper, providing a nice sleek look, low profile from the back end of the vehicle. It's going to be black powder coated, for durability against the elements, and to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion. Up top you're going to have that inch and 1/4 by inch and 1/4 receiver tube, with a 1/2 inch pin hole going straight through. Chain tie downs on either side, you can see that you're going to have about enough room to get about two fingers through on each side. This hitch is capable of carrying 350 pounds of tongue weight, and 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. Remember that that towing capacity is your trailer, and everything in it combined. more

Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 6". From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 12". We'll now go ahead with the installation. Now to begin our install we'll first go ahead and lower the exhaust on the passenger side. more

Today on our 2011 Buick Lacrosse were going to be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12115. Now heres what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately four inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 10-1/2 inches. Now lets go ahead and install our hitch. First lets go ahead and point out our mounting locations that well be using to secure the hitch to the vehicle.
